Remote Inside Sales & Estimating Coordinator

Location: Remote (Bogota)

Allied Roofing & Construction is a 30+ year exterior construction company serving residential and commercial clients throughout Northern New Jersey. Our primary focus is roofing, with siding and windows as additional services.

We are looking for a confident, personable, and highly organized Remote Inside Sales & Estimating Coordinator to work closely with our sales team, maintain consistent communication with prospective customers, and help turn opportunities into completed projects.

This is primarily an inside sales and customer follow-up position, with the opportunity to learn and assist with basic residential estimating. The right person will be comfortable speaking with U.S.-based homeowners, re-engaging older leads, following up on open proposals, helping overcome customer concerns, and ensuring that no viable opportunity is forgotten.

You do not need to be an experienced commercial estimator. However, you must be comfortable working with numbers, learning construction terminology, and using company templates and pricing systems to help prepare straightforward residential estimates.

Key Responsibilities

Contact new leads promptly by phone, email, and text
Build rapport with prospective customers and learn about their roofing, siding, window, or exterior construction needs
Qualify leads and schedule appointments or appropriate next steps for the local sales team
Follow up consistently with homeowners who have received estimates but have not yet made a decision
Re-engage older leads and previously quoted opportunities
Ask thoughtful questions to understand customer concerns, objections, timing, and decision-making factors
Explain Allied's services, process, value, and customer experience clearly and professionally
Help move qualified opportunities toward a signed agreement
Maintain organized follow-up schedules so leads do not fall through the cracks
Record calls, notes, customer concerns, next steps, and opportunity statuses accurately in the CRM
Coordinate closely with outside sales representatives regarding appointments, proposals, follow-up needs, and customer updates
Learn to prepare basic residential estimates using Allied's forms, measurements, pricing guidelines, templates, and established systems
Review project photos, measurements, scope information, and sales notes when assisting with estimates
Confirm estimate details with the appropriate salesperson or manager before proposals are finalized
Identify estimates requiring advanced technical or commercial expertise and escalate them to the appropriate team member
Follow up on requested proposal changes, missing information, and pending customer decisions
Help maintain an organized and responsive customer experience from the initial inquiry through the sales handoff
Track performance indicators such as response time, follow-up activity, appointments scheduled, opportunities reactivated, and projects closed

Qualifications

Previous inside sales, sales support, customer service, appointment setting, estimating, or construction coordination experience preferred
Roofing, exterior construction, home improvement, or residential service experience is a strong plus
Excellent spoken and written English required
English and Spanish fluency strongly preferred
Confident and comfortable communicating with U.S.-based homeowners by phone
Outgoing, personable, persistent, and comfortable asking for the customer's business
Able to follow up consistently without becoming overly aggressive
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
Comfortable working with numbers, measurements, spreadsheets, pricing sheets, and estimating templates
Willing and able to learn basic residential roofing, siding, and window estimating
Able to distinguish between straightforward residential estimates and projects requiring additional technical review
Comfortable using a CRM and other cloud-based business systems
Reliable internet connection and professional remote-work environment required
Must be available Monday-Friday, approximately 8:00 a.m.-5:00 p.m. Eastern Time
High level of accountability, responsiveness, and follow-through
