We are seeking a detail-oriented and dependable Remote Residential Estimator based in the Philippines to support our sales and production teams by preparing accurate, organized, and timely estimates for residential exterior construction projects. The right person will be comfortable reviewing measurements, photographs, inspection information, sales notes, project scopes, and company pricing guidelines. This position requires strong numerical ability, construction knowledge, attention to detail, and the discipline to verify that all labor, materials, accessories, and project requirements are properly accounted for before an estimate is finalized.
This is an excellent part-time opportunity for an experienced estimator who wants to work remotely with an established U.S.-based construction company and contribute directly to project accuracy, efficiency, and profitability.
Key Responsibilities
- Review project measurements, photographs, inspection reports, plans, sales notes, and scope information
- Prepare accurate residential estimates for roofing, siding, windows, and related exterior construction work
- Complete material takeoffs and calculate labor, material, equipment, disposal, permit, and subcontractor requirements
- Use company templates, pricing sheets, estimating systems, and established procedures
- Verify quantities, measurements, pricing, assumptions, exclusions, and project details before submitting estimates
- Identify missing information and follow up with the appropriate salesperson or team member
- Prepare clear and organized estimate summaries for internal review
- Assist with proposal revisions, scope changes, and updated pricing requests
- Maintain accurate cost information, pricing sheets, and estimating records
- Coordinate with sales and production team members to clarify job conditions and project requirements
- Ensure estimates reflect the complete anticipated project scope and help minimize costly omissions
- Distinguish straightforward residential projects from complex or commercial estimates requiring additional review
- Escalate unusual project conditions, unclear scopes, or significant pricing concerns promptly
- Update estimate statuses, notes, and supporting documentation in company systems
- Maintain consistent turnaround times while protecting estimate accuracy
- Handle company pricing and customer information with professionalism and confidentiality

- Ability to read and interpret measurements, project plans, photographs, scopes of work, and technical information
- Experience preparing material takeoffs and labor-cost calculations
- Proficiency with spreadsheets, cloud-based business systems, and estimating or takeoff software
- Excellent written and verbal English communication required
- Highly organized, accurate, and attentive to detail
- Able to identify missing information, inconsistencies, and potential scope gaps
- Comfortable working independently while communicating consistently with a U.S.-based team
- Able to manage multiple estimates, priorities, revisions, and deadlines
- Reliable internet connection and professional remote-work environment required
- Availability to work a consistent part-time schedule with sufficient overlap during Eastern Time business hours
- High level of accountability, responsiveness, and follow-through
